Strong Beginnings

Strong Beginnings is a free preschool program for three-year-old children. Strong Beginnings is also a research project to study if two years of high-quality preschool helps some children be more successful in kindergarten.  As part of the program, a family liaison is available to help both students and family members reach their goals.

This is a pilot project and spots are limited:

• Children must have turned three by September 1 and they may be able to enter "early" if they turned three by December 1.
• Families must meet income requirements.

You must submit an application. Only those with the greatest need are admitted. It is not a first come, first served program.
