Law, Public Safety, Corrections & Security

Our Law, Public Safety, Corrections, and Security courses include career preparation in areas such as public safety, law, criminal justice, and firefighting.

Students in Law Enforcement will discuss the overall structure of the criminal justice system in the United States, understand the impact of crime on victims, discuss the process of the judicial and juvenile justice systems, and the current state of America's penal system.

Students in our Fire Fighter course will receive experiences that can be used in occupations such as Firefighter, Fire Inspector, Arson Investigator, Public Safety, EMS, and Safety Officer.  You will learn things such as search & rescue, various types of ventilation, water supply, firefighter survival, salvage & overhaul operations, wildland & ground fires, fire suppression methods, pre-incident planning, assisting special rescue teams, and fire cause determination.
