Become an Exhibitor

Career Pathway Day was created to give students a fun, exciting way to explore high-demand, high-wage careers right here in southwest Michigan!

Our goal is to allow students to “experience” what it’s like to be a carpenter, an RN, a welder, a pilot, or an engineer. Students who attend the event can touch, see, feel and do something related to these careers.

Businesses host a booth to showcase these awesome careers to students.

Career Pathway Day is held at the Mendel Center on the campus of Lake Michigan College in the Grand Upton Hall.

The GPS navigation address is 1100 Yore Avenue, Benton Harbor, Michigan, 49022.

Include:

We are all about showcasing careers. Booths are set up by career type (i.e. carpenter, doctor, engineer, etc.) Plan to have some hands-on activities for students to do. A very quick demonstration, allowing students to use the tools or a fast activity that showcases the career.

We also encourage you to display your company signs/logos or table covers in your booth. We provide general signage for the event, but not for individual booths. You may bring any type of banners or signs for your booth. However, please be courteous of your neighbors and do not place them where they might block sight to another booth.

Consider bringing business cards, flyers or brochures, candy and/or swag.

Do NOT include:

Student safety is our top priority. Please be aware that NO flammable materials are allowed within the Expo Center. Please do not have any tools out on the table that might be used as a weapon (i.e. sharp or surgical knives, etc...). Keep track of smaller items that might get stolen. Remember, you will be seeing over 2,000 students.

We suggest a minimum of 2 adults in your booth at all times. Depending on your activity, you might need more.

You may also ask your staff to come in shifts.
