School Improvement

School improvement can seem like a daunting task; however, with a systematic approach, research-based tools, and available program supports, school and district improvement plans become "living documents" which drive positive, systemic change for students.

To promote the use of evidence-informed systems and best practices, establishing positive school culture and quality instruction, to support the whole child.

Meet our School Improvement Facilitator

Amanda joined the BRESA team in January of 2018. She brings with her over 20 years of educational experience as a teacher, coach, adviser, and department chair and mentor for students ages pre-school through college. Most recently, Ms. Lezotte taught middle and high school at Brandywine Community Schools in Niles. She received her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Valley in 2013 and her BS in Secondary Teaching from Central Michigan University in 2005. She holds her Michigan Administrator License and Michigan Professional Teaching Certificate. Amanda is passionate about serving diverse populations and supporting social-emotional learning and youth mental health initiatives. Ms. Lezotte is committed to helping local district and building leadership teams research, implement, and evaluate quality systems to foster outcomes which support the well-being of the whole child.
