FAQ-Bootcamp

Is transportation provided?

No. It is up to each family to provide transportation to and from Bootcamp.  Transportation will be provided for campus tours.

What if I cannot attend Bootcamp?

Bootcamp is mandatory and is a requirement of the program.  

What if I am sick/have an emergency that does not permit me to attend  one day of Bootcamp?

Students must notify the program consultant immediately.  Determination of whether the students can proceed in the program will be made on an individual basis.

What should I wear to Bootcamp?

Please dress according to your home district’s dress code.  Keep in mind, some classrooms/lecture halls will be cooler than others.  Layers may be appropriate.  Comfortable footwear is also suggested as students may be participating in group team building exercises and campus tours. 

What is expected in regard to personal conduct?

Students should behave as is expected in their home school districts.  Students will be in professional environments where others will be working.  Students who cannot maintain an appropriate demeanor will be excused from Bootcamp and possibly removed from the Program.

Will students be left unattended at Bootcamp?

Bootcamp personnel will be on site with students with the understanding that students will be dropped off and picked up at the start and end of each days’ sessions.

Will food and snacks be provided?

Yes. Students will have snacks and lunch each day of Bootcamp.  Breaks will also be provided throughout the day.  Please alert Bootcamp staff of any food allergies/restrictions. 

*Students will be treated as college students.  It is expected that all students conduct themselves as responsible young adults.
