Writing an Effective Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP)

In this session, participants will learn how to use the function of a student’s primary behavior of concern to develop a plan that explicitly teaches desired behavior, prevents problem behavior, and modifies how adults respond to address the student’s primary behavior of concern.
Participants will also learn how to collect data, monitor the effectiveness of the Behavior Intervention Plan, and make necessary adjustments so that the student can fully participate and be successful in the learning environment.
Pre-Requisite: Defining & Writing Behavior Goals AND Completing Effective Functional Behavior Assessments
