History
In the Fall of 1991, the Berrien County Mathematics and Science Center welcomed its first freshmen class and began to provide outreach services to local districts. A collaboration of local school districts, Andrews University, and business and industry, the Center was established to provide an accelerated program for students in Berrien and Cass counties. Of the 33 Math and Science Centers in Michigan, the Berrien County program is one of only seven where students attend classes at an off-site school for half a day.
