Berrien RESA Biennial Election Notice

Berrien RESA’s Board of Education has scheduled its biennial election for Monday, June 2, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. The election is being held to fill two seats, both for 6-year terms expiring June 30, 2031. The seats are currently held by Board Treasurer Dave Pagel and Board Trustee Jon Martin. Pagel has served on the Board since 2020 and Martin has served since 2019.

Those individuals who wish to be considered to fill the vacancies should submit a formal letter of interest and a resume to the Board no later than 4 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2025.  Letters should be addressed to the Board President Jackie Van Horn and be sent to:

Candidates must also file nominating petitions or pay a $100 fee with the Berrien County Clerk no later than Monday, May 5. This may be done at the Court House in St. Joseph located at 811 Port Street. The office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
