Berrien RESA supports science education and provides opportunities for teachers, students, administrators and community members to develop in the realm of science education.


Services Provided

    • Professional Development workshops for Science Educators to improve their content and pedagogical skills in all science disciplines. Learn something new and fun with a group of your peers!
    • Building a Presence for Science – Key Leader providing leadership in national and state initiatives in science and school improvement - providing relevant science news to all districts... be a Point of Contact (POC) for your school!
    • Support for District Alignment to the State HSCEs and GLCEs in Science - technical assistance is available to all teachers and groups for understanding of and alignment to the state framework in science - along with attention to your School Improvement Plan.

      The Berrien County Math Science Consultants are part of a state-wide network of Mathematics and Science professionals. This group provides new, in-depth content knowledge and pedagogy workshops each year - free of charge to all HS matematics and science teachers around the state - HS-MASS!
